Quantitative aptitude questions with answers — all 51 drills, and exactly how long you get

These are quantitative aptitude questions with answers you solve against a clock rather than read. Forty-four exam-quant kinds cover GRE/GMAT-style problem solving, data interpretation and Quantitative Comparison, plus seven speed tricks that make the arithmetic fast enough to finish. Every question is generated fresh and its answer computed from the printed numbers, so nothing repeats and every round ends in a worked solution.

Quant Daily serves one drill kind a day at three difficulties, the shared daily cycles 36 of 51 on every track — and you can drill any kind your track shows. GRE and GMAT Practice are track-aware: GRE Practice hides five bank-exam formats, Data Sufficiency, table analysis, two-part analysis, graphics interpretation, and multi-source reasoning (41 of 51). GMAT Practice hides the five bank-exam formats plus Quantitative Comparison, text geometry, mensuration, coordinate geometry, select-all, and chart data interpretation (39 of 51). Other shows all 51. Table DI stays on every track. Clocks: 15–70s speed tricks, 75s QC, 90–120s exam-quant. Every limit is published here: the limit you see in the app is the deadline our server enforces.

Two paths, one daily. Speed tricks is the technique curriculum — seven mental-math shortcuts that make a 15-second answer physically possible (15–70s). Exam quant is the paper itself — forty-four drills including Quantitative Comparison (75s) and GRE/GMAT-style topics at 90–120s. The rotation interleaves both, so a week gives you technique and application rather than one of them seven times.

Every drill name below is a link. Tap one and it opens on that kind straight away — no waiting for it to come round in the rotation. Kinds a track hides open the explanation page instead of auto-starting a drill the server would refuse.

Practise a topic in depth

These pages carry real worked examples, the method, and the mistakes the wrong options are built from — then hand you the live timed drill for that topic.

Algebra, geometry and data — one page each

The exam-quant kinds a GRE or GMAT paper leans on. Same shape as the pages above: the method, worked examples minted by the live engine, and the mistakes the wrong options are built from.

The speed tricks, one page each

The mental-math shortcuts that make a 15-second answer possible. Each page works the method step by step, then hands you the live timed drill for it.

Looking for number series? That is a pattern-recognition kind rather than a calculation kind, so it is not in this library.

Speed tricks — 7 technique drills

These are the shortcuts a timed paper never teaches you. Each walkthrough shows the fast method, never long multiplication — the method is the product. All 51 kinds with time limits →

DrillWhat it trainsEasyMediumHard
Square shortcuts Squaring numbers ending in 5 (75² = 5625) and numbers near a base (88² = 7744). 15s20s30s
Pairs that multiply fast Same leading part, units adding to 10: 43 × 47 = 2021, in one step. 15s20s30s
Midpoint multiply Multiply through the midpoint: 47 × 53 = 50² − 3² = 2491. 15s20s30s
Near-base multiply Multiplying near a base using deficits: 97 × 96 = 9312 in two steps, no paper. 20s25s35s
One-line multiply The general one-line method that multiplies any two numbers in one pass — with × 11 as its easy variant. 20s30s45s
Fast divide by 11 Dividing by 11: bring down the first digit, then chain each next digit minus the one before it. 1234 ÷ 11 = 112 r2. Hidden on GRE Practice (41 of 51) and GMAT Practice (39 of 51). Other keeps it. 20s30s45s
Half-base multiply Multiplying near working base 50: cross-add, rescale by the base's ratio, then attach the deviations' product. 46 × 48 = 2208. 15s20s30s

Exam quant — 44 paper drills (including QC)

These are the question types a GRE/GMAT-style quant section actually asks, plus Quantitative Comparison. Each is a separate drill kind on purpose: the app times you per kind, so "you are slowest at time & work" is a thing you can find out and fix, rather than a vague sense that quant is hard. On Quant Daily, exam-quant clocks are 90–120 seconds (QC is 75s). Speed Arithmetic and Squares, Cubes & Roots stay on the speed-trick 15–70s band.

GRE/GMAT exam-quant additions

Twenty-six Quant Daily–introduced kinds plus two shared unhides (ratio, GCD/LCM). Quantitative Comparison is 75 seconds at every difficulty, Table Analysis and Multi-Source Reasoning 150 / 180 / 210, Two-Part Analysis, Graphics Interpretation and Select All That Apply 120 / 150 / 180, Chart Data Interpretation 90 / 120 / 150; the rest are 90 / 105 / 120. Every kind below except Coordinate Geometry, Percentiles & Quartiles, Table Analysis, Two-Part Analysis, Graphics Interpretation, Multi-Source Reasoning, Select All That Apply and Chart Data Interpretation has a live drill link, and all but Integer Counting, Nonlinear Functions, Weighted Average, Coordinate Geometry, Percentiles & Quartiles, Table Analysis, Two-Part Analysis, Graphics Interpretation, Multi-Source Reasoning, Select All That Apply and Chart Data Interpretation have a dedicated topic page. Data Sufficiency, Table Analysis, Two-Part Analysis, Graphics Interpretation and Multi-Source Reasoning are GMAT and Other Practice only and are not on the shared daily; Integer Counting, Nonlinear Functions and Weighted Average are Practice only; Coordinate Geometry, Percentiles & Quartiles, Select All That Apply and Chart Data Interpretation are GRE and Other Practice only (GMAT Practice hides them, and none is on the shared daily), so their links open the app rather than a drill.

How the questions are made

Every drill is generated fresh and verified by machine before it is served — the answer is computed from the printed expression, not written by hand, and the counting kinds are re-checked by enumeration in our test suite. That is why the questions do not repeat and cannot be memorised, and why we can publish a time limit and mean it.

The wrong options are built from the classic careless errors for that specific kind. Picking one is diagnostic: it tells you which habit is costing you marks.
